Filling management and specialist positions is the supreme discipline of personnel consulting. Faulty appointments in these areas cost companies money, time and reputation.

We have been filling positions in German industry for almost 20 years and are aware of the challenges involved in recruitment. In addition to a comprehensive understanding of individual sectors, which is adapted to the respective mandate above all in the course of extensive, precise preliminary discussions, we have above all a search strategy that guarantees the success of every project through quality and precision.

Project analysis

A collaboration always begins with a profound understanding of your products or services. It is essential for us to first familiarize ourselves intensively with the structures, hierarchies and working atmosphere of your company. We then conduct a personal interview to discuss the position to be filled, the candidate's duties, how they will fit into your company's organization and the expectations and character of their immediate superiors. We use this information to create a comprehensive profile and begin the search. In addition to the technical requirements, this profile also includes an idea of the candidate's ideal personality.

The search

Based on a target company list agreed with you, our team researches suitable top candidates in the global competition. This elaborate, above-average precise and flexible search by our in-house identification center sets us apart from our competitors (link 3-stage principle). We are continuously improving our process quality (link ISO 9001/ processes) as part of the identification process and are therefore able to successfully fill positions even in tight markets. Thanks to more than twenty years of experience in the field of executive search, our consultants have a large personal network at their disposal, which is used in every project. It not only helps us to find suitable target companies and candidates, but also provides valuable information to assess professional qualifications, working methods and personalities. In addition, our team's continuous training and further education guarantee the best possible research results with premium standards.

As a clearly process-oriented company, our focus is always on working efficiently and purposefully.

In order to be subject to a continuous improvement process as a service provider, we have adapted all processes in our company to the ISO 9001:2015 standard and were successfully certified by TÜV Nord in 2018. Recertification took place in 2021 and 2024.

3-step principle

Only a standardized process combined with extensive industry expertise and a feel for the needs and philosophy of our clients can bring us close to our goal of a “zero error” rate when filling demanding positions. Gebrüder Schwanke Personalberatung only considers a project to be complete when it is certain that the best candidate available on the market has been found for our client.

Approach

The candidates we discreetly approach in the workplace receive a comprehensive picture of the position and are informed about opportunities and prospects with our clients. The fact that we do not just write to candidates anonymously on social networks leads to a significantly higher level of interest in further discussions. On average, eight out of ten candidates placed with our clients are not previously active in professional social networks or cannot be found under their current job description.

Placement

After a pre-selection process, the eligible candidates are interviewed in person. During this interview, we primarily analyze the personality structure and examine the extent to which the candidate has the necessary personal experience to master the challenges of the position (link aptitude diagnostics). We then forward the results to you in the form of a detailed profile. In close consultation with you, we decide which candidates you will get to know.
