Overview
The construction industry has experienced a unique upswing in recent years.
Urbanization and the desire for high living comfort, as well as the economic upturn of recent years, have resulted in high demand in this area.
The current government willingness to invest and the low interest rates, which strongly motivate people to buy residential property, will presumably continue to support this upturn.
Investment in this sector has risen every year since 2009, following a prolonged sideways movement and a construction recession that lasted until 2005 (source: Hauptverband der deutschen Bauindustrie e.V.).

What we do
We have gained a very good overview of the construction and civil engineering industry and have compiled an almost complete database of the construction and construction supply industry by repeatedly analyzing databases, trade fair lists and association member lists. This knowledge flows into every new project and ensures that processing is carried out at an above-average level.
In total, our PCMS database (link: Processes) lists more than 5,500 companies in the construction and construction supply sectors. For each new project, this database is checked and, if necessary, expanded to include specific target companies or details are updated.
We have also recruited the head of a construction department for a large German retail group and are working for an engineering company from Lower Saxony that has its roots in urban water management and civil engineering.
In addition, we advise a large local water supplier in Lower Saxony and an engineering company that realizes international projects in the fields of water management and construction.
Our consultant Steven B. Fashipe (Link: Team) has filled several positions in the construction industry in Africa for an international group. The growth rates there represent interesting options for the German construction industry (source: Hauptverband der Deutschen Bauindustrie).
Industrial transformation case study
To support the goal of producing low-CO2 steel, Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH has its own construction department, which is responsible for the planning and implementation of all construction and infrastructure-related activities as part of the SALCOS project.
